Upper Ezu Lake is just 30 minutes from the heart of the city and 10 minutes walk from Suizenji Park. It’s a wonderful place to just hang out and relax or have a picnic but if you fancy doing something a little more active renting a rowing boat or a character pedalo can also be a lot of fun.
Pedalos and rowing boats can be rented for either 30 minutes or an hour, current prices are below:
Pedalo (In Japanese – Pedaru Boato ペダルボート)
1 pedalo for 30m = 1,100 Y 60m = 2000 Y (up to 3 people on board)
1 pedalo for 30m = 1,300 Y 60m = 2300 Y (2 adults & 2 children (aged between 2 and 6) on board
Rowing Boats (In Japanese – Tekogi Boato 手こぎボート)
Rowing boats have a maximum capacity of 3 adults.
Elementary and Junior High School students (age 6 to 15)
40m = 600 Y per boat
60m = 700 Y per boat
High School Students (age 16 to 18)
40m = 700 Y per boat
60m = 800 Y per boat
Adult
40m =900 Y per boat
60m = 1100 Y per boat
